Create iCal calendar files
An online wizard
iCal files are a quick and easy way of getting your events into the calendars of your users or customers.
Enter your event details into the iCal file wizard below to create an iCal file. When you have entered your event details either copy the generated code into notepad (and save it with the .ical file extension) or download the automatically generated iCal file. This system has been tested for compatibility with all popular calendar systems including Outlook (tested up to version Outlook 2009).
Multiple events in one iCal file
To create an iCal file that includes more than one event enter the details of your first event then click the 'save event' button. Then click the 'add new' button that will appear and add the details of your next event and click the 'save event' button, etc etc etc.
Using your iCal file to get your event details into your users' calendars and/ or Outlook
Your users need to run the iCal file on thier own computers or import it into thier calendars. The best method is to upload the iCal file to your website and offer it as a download link, when the user runs the downloaded file (and after a confirmation message) details of your event will be added to their calendar. You could also attach the iCal file directly to your users with a note telling them to run the attachement, but as it is contrary to all security advice to tell your users to run a file that has come as an attachment we would recommend against this method.
iCal files have traditionally been the domain of the geek elect, but with the use of our wizard we're sure you'll soon come to realise just how simple and useful iCal files can be.
Please note, our iCal wizard is offered for free and with no support, however if you like to discuss our various support services please get in touch...
